Do to the North Carolina State Fair coming up soon, I will not be in business at the Raleigh Flea Market the whole month of October. But I do a antique festival the first Saturday of October in Cameron, NC. I would love to see you guys there, it is a very unique festival that I do twice a year. I will be located in the to the lot next to the old hardware store, precisely Better Vince's yard next to a carport. The Raleigh Flea Market will be open again on the first weekend of November and I will be in the same spot as always in the Education Building. I will be selling a lot of new products at this festival and I look forward to seeing a few of you there!!

Out With The Old In With The New!!

 

I've always got pleasure from taking old junk and giving it a new life or purpose. Not only do I transfer old into new, everything I make are one of a kind pieces and can't be replicated even if I tried. To give you more of an idea I take old scrabble pieces and use them as charms or even make key chains out of them. I use a lot of antique rhinestones and hardware in many of my pieces. I've started to make more and more pieces with old gas pump tags and cow tags! That just shows you what I can do with just about anything, which mean you can bring me any of your old stuff of any kind and I can must likely make you and beautiful custom piece!! Like you can tell in other blog posts, jewelry isn't the only thing I do. I do a lot of clothes including jean jackets which are my hot seller and I also do tons of unique furniture. But you can't get the full feel of what I do just from a screen, you've got to check me out at my store at the Raleigh Flea Market! The physical address is located on the right of my blog.

Live Love Furnish!

I am always making new furnish and decor like chairs, desks, dressers and a lot more. All of my fabric's that I use on my chairs are either vintage or recycled and used for new, including the belts that I incorporate into my chairs as well. 

This chair I made of stenciled burlap and a cream white antique finish. I use a lot of burlap in my work just because of the old world feel it establishes.

I work on larger pieces too, this one above is kind of a multifunction desk. It can be used as a storage desk to just a hallway table.

Ever really need a hat but all of them out there are so blahh?? Well as you know I like to bling everything up to give it style so with my cowboy hats I will bling and pep them up with rhinestone broaches and feathers and even leather! All of my hats are one of a kind as is everything else I make. If none of the hats I have available for sale, are not your size I can also take custom orders.

All Walks Of Leather

Leather cuff bracelets have been something I've been doing for a long time and the seem to be a hot sell! They are made to fit snugly and are either made plain or embellished. My bracelets are made from old genuine leather belts and then embellished with either rhinestone or pearl broaches or even lace. Or for the more simple feel I can leave it plain. They all are finished off with a brass or silver tone snap. Some of my bracelets have a southern vibe and the others are vintage bling!! Accessorize Your House With Decor That Also Has A Purpose!!

 

We don't just do jewelry and apparel, we also do decor and furnishes! Do you not have enough storage space well we also hand make accessory boards for either putting away your keys, scarfs, hats, or even your jewelry. Some of our customers have used them for hanging their towels in the bathroom. All of our accessory boards vary in different sizes considering they are made from re-purposed scrap wood. Another accessory board that we do is a vintage finished old wooden frame lined with either burlap, lace or wire. The other boards are put together with old antique hardware so you may store whatever you would like on them.

Give Your Jean Jackets Blinged Up Life

Another product I sell is jean jackets. They are hand embellished with antique rhinestones, bling cuffs, burlap and different fabrics. All of my jean jackets are one of a kind as all of my other products are too. In a previous blog post I discussed custom work, well I can also make you a custom jean jacket with me either providing a jean jacket or you even giving me one of your old jean jackets that needs a new blinged out life!

What's up? Just Hanging...Chandeliers!

One of my new products are my beautifully decorated chandeliers, I embellish them with an arrange of flowers, crystals, rhinestones and beads all put together with a nice antique finish on each one.

This antique chandelier is one of my newest and favorites! I added pink and purple flowers, strings of chandelier crystals, burlap string trim on each of the candle light sticks. This piece is also embellished with purple rhinestones throughout with an antique wax finish.

Did You Know We Do Custom Work??

You already know that we take old,vintage jewelry and make them new unique pieces but we also will take your old jewelry or old grandmother's jewelry and make you a beautiful piece. The custom work we do is taking your old worn out jewelry, handbags, or denim and revitalize them back to life. My option of custom work allows you to have my pieces exactly how you like them. That being said I also can alter a piece that I have already for sale, but with a few guidelines. I will alter a piece if it isn't to your size liking meaning, if something is too small most of the time I can make it bigger or if something is too big I can also almost always make it smaller. With altering though I won't completely take apart my one of a kind pieces, therefore that's why I have the option of custom work so if you like one of my already made pieces but you have some things you don't like about it and you want to make it you own and have me add little touches of the stuff that you absolutely love then I can just whip you up a fresh one that is to you complete liking and I will email or text you when it is ready to unveil!! Spoons Don't Always Need To Be Used For Eating!

Spoon pieces are one of my newest product lines and I expand on them everyday. I take old silver or silver plated, antique spoons and create either a necklace, bracelet or even rings. I embellish each of them with rhinestones and vintage broaches.

This silver spoon necklace is on a long silver tone chain that is connected to a old broken rhinestone earring and has a old antique broach added in the center. All of our pieces and rhinestones are put together with a strong adhesive that will keep everything in tack.

This piece is a spoon bracelet paired with a beautiful vintage rhinestone broach. Our spoon bangle bracelets can be made bigger just by bending them open a little, which can also be done to help get them on and off. There is no way for me to make them smaller unfortunately, but I do custom orders which can be done over email or at my store at the Raleigh Flea Market.

Everyone Likes A Little Baggage!

I liked to take time to talk about baggage and just how to carry it! I happen to make great tote bags with unique and quality fabrics, lined with linen and real leather belts as the strap! Pretty cool huh? Think so, look at the picture to your left so
you can get a feel of what the bags offer. We also will embellish them with rhinestone pieces or beaded pieces like you see in the picture. In addition, we take special orders for the bags. If you want a larger size in your favorite bag we can definitely do it! Or maybe you need a smaller size than what we have available, that is doable too. First Things First....About Me!

Hi! I've been up-cycling for roughly 15 years now and I absolutely love it!! "You name it I recycle it!" Taking old things and refurbishing them to a new life is what I do best. From revitalizing old furniture to taking old vintage pieces of jewelry and making fun new pieces that make a statement!

Above shows some old antique hardware re-purposed into a new up-cyclerd piece. I really love to incorporate vintages rhinestones and pearls to give it a more fun feel. Every piece I make, whether it's jewelry, furniture, tote bags, clothing etc., they are all one of a kind and you'll never have to worry about anyone having the same piece as you!!
